Welcome to House of Judah's Growing Center (Children's Ministry)
 
The Growing Center Teachers advocate that all children are welcome and expected to be fully engaged .We plan and carry out a comprehensive program for children that includes worship, study, fellowship, service experiences, and other experiences that guide children as they grow in faith.
They regularly and intentionally communicate with parents, families, and Pastors so that the children have multiple opportunities to thrive as Disciples.

Sister Pam is a retiree from SIU-C, She has a B.A in Speech Pathology ,she was employed  at Lutheran Social Services,and for the city of Carbondale.Sister Pam has one daughter Kristen .She has thirty plus years working in the youth ministry department,from making costumes and directing the holiday music programs.Sister Pam has been a member of House of Judah since it began March 19th,2014 and a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle under the leadership of Pastors John and Chelly Rutherford January-March 2014.

Sister Pat is a mother of two(Amari , and Kalani).She received M.S.W in Social Work from SIU-C. She currently works for Caritas Family Solutions . Sister Pat has a long history of customer service from working as a CNA(nurses assist)recreational aide to sales associate in a major department store as she worked her way thru school .Sister Pat volunteers her time with the girl scouts(not just selling cookies) and other community events. Sister Pat has been a member of House of Judah since it began March 19th , 2014 and a member of Full Gospel Tabernacle under the leadership of Pastors John and Chelly Rutherford from Jan -March of 2014.

Minister Gretchen is married to Nate Harris, they have two daughters Kristian and Selah. She’s  an author,school teacher speaker, radio host Word of Life (WXAN 103.9FM).She’s the founder of Truth Tellers Ministry and Most important she’s a Daughter of the KING. The Harris family have been a part of House of Judah sine 2017.

Sister Leslie ,is our newest addition to the Growing Center team. She retired from SIU-C as an Academic Advisor  and Admissions Coordinator. She has a Master's Degree in Work Force Education .She has twenty plus years experience working in children's ministry. Sister Leslie started a worship flag dance ministry at S.I.W.C aka Purpose House Church with the youth. 
We are excited for her to be on this team.
